Ipswich Martial Arts dba Soke Shubukan Certified Labrecque Dojo was founded in 2002 by the school’s Director and Chief Instructor, Ed Labrecque. Mr. Labrecque has been a student of the martial arts since 1992. He currently holds the rank of Godan, 5th Degree Black Belt. Mr. Labrecque's credentials are all international certifications, recognized and registered in Okinawa, Japan.
